A participant in an cross country run in the German Black Forest fell about 100 metres down a slope and died, the mountain rescue service reported on Sunday. Emergency services found his body in a very steep wooded area. The 38-year-old was reported missing by relatives on Saturday afternoon when he did not reach the finish line of the race.
