Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has said the state government will launch its own local security outfit before the end of May, 2024. The governor, who stated this on Tuesday during the All Progressives Congress, APC, stakeholders’ meeting in Makurdi, said the move was aimed at complementing the efforts of other security agencies in tackling security challenges bedeviling the state.
