Tennis fans have been warned of a Wimbledon washout ahead of scorching highs of 26C next week. The Met Office is warning showers could hit South West London shortly after Wimbledon kicks off. Parts of Wales, Northern England and Scotland will separately experience “particularly heavy” rain throughout the early hours.
