The Hezbollah militia in Lebanon has confirmed the death of its military commander Fuad Shukr in an Israeli attack in a suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut. The pro-Iranian Shiite militia on Wednesday described the strike on Shukr as a “sinful attack and a serious crime.” His funeral would take place on Thursday, the group said.
