A 9-year-old Australian girl who got an on-stage hug from Taylor Swift in February as she battled an aggressive form of brain cancer has passed away. Swift often hands out a signed hat to one fan when she performs her song “22” in concert, so the family of Scarlett Oliver, 9, tried to get Swift’s attention on social media so that she would meet the young girl during her upcoming New Era tour stop.
