On the Saturday before Easter, Notre Dame men’s lacrosse goalie Liam Entenmann reached his stick out and said a prayer. No. 3 Syracuse, down 13-10 to the No. 1 Irish in the early fourth quarter in South Bend, passed the ball to an open man to Entenmann’s left and then across the goalmouth. Graduate midfielder Jake Stevens had a wide-open net until somehow, some way, Entenmann dove to make the save of the year.
