A local authority will be mounting a legal challenge against the decision to allow a large 270-home community to be built just south of Newbury. Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council has confirmed that it has been given permission to proceed with a statutory review of the Planning Inspectorate’s controversial decision to allow the Watermill Bridge appeal.
