The North Atlantic Alliance plans to appoint a coordinator for long-term aid to Ukraine, according to The Wall Street Journal. A senior civilian official based in Kyiv will be appointed responsible, according to representatives of the US and NATO. The decision will be announced at the upcoming North Atlantic Alliance summit in Washington on July 11. “The senior civilian official in Kyiv would focus on Ukraine’s longer-term military modernization requirements and nonmilitary support, linking to both the planned Wiesbaden command and NATO headquarters in Brussels,” The Wall Street Journal notes….
