German carrier Lufthansa said Monday that airlines in the Lufthansa Group will temporarily suspends night flights to and from Beirut due to the worsening conflict between the pro-Iranian Hezbollah militia in Lebanon and the Israeli military. “Due to current developments in the Middle East, the airlines of the Lufthansa Group will suspend their night flights to and from Beirut (Lebanon) from June 29th to July 31st,” the Group said in response to a query by dpa.
