The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria, MWUN has revealed it will shut down ports, terminals and jetties in compliance with organized labour’s Monday indefinite strike action. The move follows the federal government’s failure to sign and implement a new minimum wage and reverse the April 3 electricity tariff hike.
