Toyota Motor Corp. said Monday that it resumed some production in Japan, five days after all its domestic plants were halted due to the approach of Typhoon Shanshan. The automaker, however, decided to delay restarting production at two plants in Iwate and Miyagi prefectures on Monday for three models that had been affected by its recent vehicle certification scandal.
