Britain’s Got Talent singer Tom Ball has hit back at ongoing claims from viewers that the judges have gone “soft” and letting any act through, reminding many that it is a variety show. Ball competed in the 2022 series of the talent competition and won over Simon Cowell at his audition with a rendition of Sam Smith’s song Writing’s on the Wall and went on to finish in third place.
