Enjoy some musical entertainment at a series of concerts throughout May. Three concerts are coming up in the Burnhams and Brancaster this month. Last year, Music in the Burnhams introduced the idea of performing a Beethoven concerto in a village hall with a string quartet and bass. After the success of The Victoria with Leon Bosch and Peter Hewitt, they will be repeating the formula but this time with the greatBeethoven 5th piano concerto on Saturday, May 11 at 7.30pm in Burnham Overy Village Hall. ‘Emperor’ was written in 1809, and by then Beethoven had grown too deaf to perform at the piano….
