The International Olympic Committee have made it ‘absolutely clear’ that the controversy surrounding Algerian boxer Imane Khelif is ‘not a transgender issue’. Khelif is one of two female boxers who were disqualified by the International Boxing Association (IBA) from last year’s world championships but have been cleared to fight at the Paris Olympics.
