Bayer Leverkusen will be without defender Nordi Mukiele for the next two games, the Bundesliga champions said on Saturday. “Nordi suffered a muscle injury in his left thigh during last night’s draw with Stuttgart,” the club wrote on X. Mukiele had to be subbed off in the 54th minute of Friday’s goalless draw. The player will miss the Champions League trip to Liverpool on Tuesday and the Bundesliga match against Bochum on November 9. He’s expected to rejoin the team after the international break and be back for the league game against Heidenheim on November 23.
