A 19-year-old Somerset County man has been sentenced to five years in state prison for his role in beating a business owner the night before Thanksgiving in 2022, officials said. Yahmir Brown, of Franklin, will have to serve at least four years, three months before being eligible for parole, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office said Thursday.
