Tartana Minerals (ASX:TAT) has seen its share price jump 7% in morning trades on Monday as it unveiled a recent 150 tonne shipment of copper sulphate. With its pentahydrate plant located in far north Queensland, 100% offtake partner Kanins on-sold the material to “one of the largest mining operations in the Northern Territory.” The customer was not named. Copper sulphate is used in large quantities by mining companies in flotation procedures to yield gold, cobalt and other base metals.
