Two people were struck and killed by a high-speed passenger train near the German city of Frankfurt on Friday evening. The two men, aged 19 and 23, apparently wanted to catch a bus and crossed the tracks at the Langenselbold train station to do so, according to the police. They apparently did not notice an approaching high-speed ICE train. The men were hit and died at the scene of the accident. The train line between Hanau and Fulda was closed for around three hours after the accident.
