The number of people injured in anti-Muslim motivated offences is increasing in Germany, government data revealed. Police authorities recorded 42 injured individuals nationwide in the first three quarters of this year due to crimes believed to have an Islamophobic motive, including four seriously injured. Since incidents are sometimes not reported immediately or the motive is only recognized at a later point during an investigation, the figures are provisional.
