Europeans born in the year 2006 can apply online to win a free rail pass, the European Commission announced on Wednesday. Applicants have to register on a commission website until October 16 and answer a short quiz about the European Union. Besides EU citizens, young people from Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Turkey are also eligible to apply, the commission said.
