Youth basketball is on the rise in the Newbury area. Almost 1.2 million children in Britain play the sport at least once a week, and Kennet Basketball Club are helping to provide local opportunities. Since its launch in 2018, the club has coached countless children of all ages. The club is a non-profit organisation, charging subscriptions only to cover running costs and is staffed entirely by volunteers.
