Formula One will race in Japan until 2029 after agreeing on a five-year extension with the driver and fan favourite Suzuka Circuit, F1 said on Friday. In 2024, the Japanese Grand Prix will move to a new slot in April – between races in Australia and China – as part of F1’s efforts to rationalize its calendar, reducing the distance that freight travels around the world.
