A court in Afghanistan’s northern province of Parwan has punished four convicts for allegedly committing sodomy, the Taliban’s Supreme Court said on Monday. According to a statement from the Supreme Court, three of the defendants were given one-year prison terms along with 39 lashes each, while one received a two-year prison sentence and the same number of lashes.
