Iran has begun the construction of four nuclear power plants in the south of the country, state news agency IRNA reported on Thursday. The plants in the city of Sirik are to generate 5,000 megawatts of electricity on completion, nuclear chief Mohammad Eslami explained in an interview with IRNA published on Thursday.
