InterMAX karter Jenson Sayell’s first visit to Warden Law near Sunderland proved challenging at the weekend for the third round of the Cadet Kart Championship. Friday’s practice went well with Sayell settling into the circuit almost immediately and he was the fastest in Saturday’s second practice. He qualified fourth with a time of 53.35 – just 0.28 seconds off pole. Sayell got a good start in Heat 1 and was up to third at the first corner when the ‘false start’ light came on for a third time.
