A dog walker in his 60s was punched in the head and lost consciousness in an assault in Sudbury. The victim was walking his dog and leaving Friars Meadow when he was attacked by a male who punched him in the head several times at 7.15pm on Tuesday. He was knocked to the floor and lost consciousness for a while. He received hospital treatment and has been released from hospital.
