The Euro 2024 tournament will generate an additional tourism income of around €250 million ($270 million) for the host country of Germany, according to an economic research report. Publishing house Funke on Saturday quoted the Leibniz Institute for Economic Research (IWH) in Halle as saying that some 650,000 fans are expected for the June 14-July 14 tournament in 10 German cities, providing the additional income.
