Infants in a pram should be well wrapped up to protect them from hypothermia, as babies lose heat faster than adults because their skin is particularly thin, according to health experts. The ratio of body volume to body size also precipitates a baby’s loss of heat, Germany’s Das Sichere Haus health initiative says.
