Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], May 1 (ANI): Most districts of Tamil Nadu on Wednesday grappled with heatwave conditions with the Karur district recording the highest temperature, 44 degrees Celsius. According to the India Meteorological Department, 44 degrees Celsius recorded in the Karur district today is 7.2 degrees Celsius more than normal.
