A village is holding its annual sports day and carnival on Saturday and it promises to be bigger and better than ever. Doddington will see some road closures between 8.30am and 12.30pm through the centre of the village to allow for the parade, which last year was stationary. There promises to be an array of floats in the procession which starts at 10.30am after the judging of the fancy dress competition and of the floats.
