LSU looked to be a slam dunk in the recruitment of Shreveport (La.) Calvary Baptist four-star running back James Simon entering this spring. The in-state Tigers have had Simon on campus numerous times and were making the 5-foot-11, 190-pounder a major priority in Baton Rouge.
