The Ekiti State governor, Abiodun Oyebanji, has raised a 13-member negotiation committee as the state government kickstarts meetings with organised labour preparatory to the implementation of the minimum wage payment in the state. A statement in Ado Ekiti by the Special Adviser, Media, to the Governor, Yinka Oyebode, said the decision to set up the committee was sequel to the signing of the minimum wage law by President Bola Tinubu on July 30, 2024.
