Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash between a car and a lorry yesterday morning. Officers were called to the A47 at Terrington St John at 10.12am on Monday to reports of a collision between a grey Suzuki Jimny and a white Mercedes HGV. The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene including firefighters, ambulance crews, and the air ambulance. The driver of the Suzuki Jimny, a man aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was reopened at around 5.15pm.
