Fire crews tackled a blaze close to a nursery. Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) sent three fire engines to an electrical substation in Boundary Road, Chatham. The blaze is understood to have started soon after 3am yesterday when cables on the site set alight. Smoke could be seen coming from the premises, which is also close to St John Fisher Catholic Comprehensive School and Fort Pitt Grammar School For Girls.
