Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) on Monday confirmed the deaths of two generals from their ranks in what Tehran said was an Israeli strike on its consulate building in Damascus. The two brigadier generals Mohammad Reza Sahedi and his deputy Mohammad Hadi Haji were killed in the attack, the IRGC said on Monday evening. Five other members of the Revolutionary Guards were killed in the attack.
