Seven people have died in a collision between a train and a bus in the Yaroslavl region outside Moscow, according to the Russian authorities on Monday. The victims in the Yaroslavl region north-east of Moscow were on the bus, the Russian Civil Defence said on Monday. The driver was also injured. The bus drove onto the tracks at a level crossing, although the train was approaching at high speed, according to the Russian railway system. The bus broke down in the middle of the crossing so came to a halt there, Ria Novosti news agency reported, citing the public prosecutor’s office.
