One person died a two-alarm fire at a Downtown Jersey City high-rise Thursday morning, authorities said. The Hudson County Regional Arson Task Force and the Jersey City Fire Department are investigating the blaze at 270 Marin Blvd., the 20-story Metropolis Tower at near Montgomery Street and not far from City Hall. The fire was reported at approximately 5 a.m. No details were immediately released.
