Arsenal suffered a poor defeat to Newcastle United, in a game in which very few players impressed. Bukayo Saka and Thomas Partey were two of the only players who came away with any credit, as an Alexander Isak winner consigned Arsenal to a limp defeat. Mikel Arteta’s side lacked any creativity, and it was another dire display as they failed to produce chances in front of goal. Newcastle only had one huge chance, but Isak took his goal superbly after an outstanding cross from Anthony Gordon.
