(The Center Square) – Kamala Harris, who abandoned a presidential bid in 2019, is the Democratic presidential nominee in 2024. The vice president secured the bid on Friday afternoon at about 3 p.m. Eastern in a virtual roll call vote ahead of the Democratic National Convention.
