Despite a career night from Ashton Crowther, the University of Miami baseball team fell short to the Florida Atlantic Owls, 3-0, Tuesday evening at FAU Baseball Stadium. Crowther tossed 6 1/3 innings in his third career start, holding FAU (17-9) to two runs. The southpaw struck out five batters, setting down 10 Owls in a row from the fourth frame into the seventh.
