In less than a week dozens of people will be spending the night outdoors to raise funds in solidarity with the homeless. The Big Newark Sleep Out will return on Friday (March 8), with 81 individuals taking part in the event which will supporting the missions of both YMCA Newark and Sherwood, and Newark Emmaus Trust. The sleep out aims to shine a spotlight on the challenges faced by the homeless while generating crucial funds for these charities.
