A final decision has been reached on proposals to introduce parking charges, bringing a controversial saga to an end. Babergh District Council’s cabinet met this afternoon to discuss proposals to scrap free three-hour parking in Sudbury, Hadleigh and Lavenham to address the authority’s £6.7 million budget gap over the next four years.
