Police prevented a climate blockade at Hamburg Airport early on Friday morning, they said in a statement. A patrol car crew became aware of a group of cyclists near the airport, the police said. When the cyclists noticed the police, they reportedly fled. Four of them were stopped and checked a short time later, while one person fled unidentified, the police said.
