A man who allegedly shot through a Toms River resident’s back door and then threatened another neighbor with a gun was arrested Tuesday, police said. Officers were called to an Oxford Street home at 10:47 a.m. and were told by a resident that a man banged on his front door while holding a gun, police said. The gunman then went to the back door and the homeowner heard a loud bang, according to a release from the Toms River Police Department. The homeowner told police he ran upstairs to contact them.
