The Bishop’s Stortford bypass was closed for almost two hours on Friday afternoon (August 2) as a result of a crash. Police were called at around 12.25pm following reports of a two-vehicle collision on the stretch between the Tesco and Homebase roundabouts at the Hadham Road and Stansted Road junctions. A white Suzuki and a grey Mini Cooper were involved and the road was closed while emergency services attended.
