An exhibition of works by German painter Caspar David Friedrich at the Hamburger Kunsthalle drew a record number of visitors, the institution said on Tuesday. “With 335,000 visitors, the major anniversary exhibition achieved the highest number of visitors ever in the history of the Hamburger Kunsthalle,” it said.
