France will be without captain and Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappé in their upcoming Nations League matches. Coach Didier Deschamps named his squad on Thursday for the matches against Israel on October 10 and against Belgium on October 14, and has decided to leave Mbappé out as he’s dealing with a thigh injury. Mbappé played in the 1-0 Champions League defeat to Lille on Wednesday, but according to the L’Equipe newspaper, he will stay and Madrid and be rested during the international break. France started the Nations League season with a 3-1 defeat to Italy and a 2-0 win against Belgium.
