The ambulance service has received a gold award in recognition of their support for the armed forces. The honour was awarded to East Midland Ambulance Service (EMAS) as part of the Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme, which aims to encourage organisations to support the armed forces and their communities, presenting them with either bronze, silver, or gold awards.
