Jonathan Powell will not headed to Xavier after all. The 6-foot-6 shooting guard out of Centerville (OH) has requested to be released from his National Letter of Intent (NLI) to Xavier and will reopen his recruitment. The three-star senior committed to Sean Miller and the Musketeers in May of 2023 and signed his NLI during the earlier period in November. He ultimately chose Xavier over a final group of Clemson, Indiana, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Virginia Tech.
