American bobsleigh pilot Riley Tejcek crashed in all four runs of the two-woman competition at the world championships but still didn’t finish last on Saturday. Tejcek and push athlete Jasmine Jones crashed at the end of the final turn in the first two heats on Friday but could continue because the sled crossed the finish line. On Saturday, Tejcek and new partner Jestena Mattson tipped over again at the same place but still qualified for the fourth and final run where they crashed again a little earlier.
